The head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are chasing the enemy in the Kharkiv region.
“Our Armed Forces know their business, they are chasing the enemy, but we are having fierce battles in the north and northeast,” Sinegubov said in a May 26 address.
He also noted that the fighting continues in the Izyum direction.
“Our Armed Forces are holding their positions there, and the enemy is suffering significant losses there,” Sinegubov said.

While the Armed Forces of Ukraine are chasing the occupiers, the Russians are responding with strikes on civilians. Due to the massive shelling of Kharkov on May 26 perished 7 people, 17 were injured – among them a 9-year-old child.
