Fidel Alex Díaz was assassinated at the age of 26; his death was due to an act of intolerance on behalf of his neighbor, who lived two blocks from his house.
It was 8:00 pm last Thursday when Fidel saw that a boy, a relative of his, had been bitten by a dog.
The first thing he did was find out if the dog was stray or if it had an owner. Realizing that the animal belonged to a neighbor, he took the vehicle and went to the man’s house with the purpose, according to a friend of the young man, of verifying that the dog had been vaccinated.
But when he got out of the vehicle, the neighbor was already waiting for him with a weapon, which he did not hesitate to use once Fidel approached.

A police officer from the Aguilares subdelegation said that the young man was killed by a bullet to the head. The incident occurred in the Pampitas neighborhood, in the municipality of Aguilares, north of San Salvador. The officer also said that apparently there were fights between the neighbor and Díaz for a while.

The murderer has not yet been located by the Police, because after the fact he fled.
Díaz was known in Aguilares for his passion for modified cars.

He had been a board member of the Innovation Cars Club for two years, a group of people who love motors. “For us it is painful because he was an active person. Once he had the time, he went wherever he went, to Honduras, to Guatemala. Where we were not going? He was very cooperative, ”said one of the group members.
One of his friends also highlighted Díaz’s altruism, who organized food collections for some elderly people who lived in the municipality.
The young man leaves a 5-year-old girl; also a void in his family and friends.
