The novelty intended for the South American markets was first shown in May, but only now has the carmaker revealed its name and interior.

Although Fiat introduced its new city SUV for the South American markets as early as the beginning of May, at that time the novelty was known only as Project 363 and its final name could be decided by the public through a survey on the website. And people chose the name Pulse.
In the new pictures we can already see the car with the official name, but practically nothing has changed in the exterior design since its May premiere. Pulse stands on the MLA platform and, as a proper crossover, has ubiquitous plastic coating. In the higher equipment, it will also offer LED headlights, a black-painted roof, alloy wheels or rich chrome plating.

For the first time ever, the carmaker also showed the interior, which may be quite simple at first glance, but offers a rich technological equipment. There is a 7 ”digital instrument shield in the instrument cluster, while a 10.1-inch touch infotainment emerges from the dashboard. In addition, in a press release for the Brazilian market, Fiat should have mentioned that it was developing new materials, fabrics and colors for the Pulse model to differentiate it from the rest of the range.
The dashboard is divided by a chrome line together with a painted part, which connects to the door trim. In the center console we can then notice the automatic air conditioning with touch buttons or automatic transmission selectors. The steering wheel is upholstered in leather and attracts attention mainly thanks to the distinctive red Sport button.

Two engines should appear under the hood: a 1.0-liter supercharged three-cylinder with an output of about 120 hp and a basic 1.3-liter atmospheric four-cylinder with an output of about 109 hp. The three-cylinder should be connected to a six-speed automatic, while the basic four-cylinder should offer a five-speed manual or CVT transmission.
The new Fiat Pulse is expected to enter the South American markets later this year, but prices have not yet been announced.
