It’s time to restyling for Fiat Tipo. The compact of the Turin brand is renewed in many respects, from design to technologies passing through the new engines. News that extend to the entire range, which expands thanks to the introduction of the new Cross Type. The new Tipo Life line is spread over three trim levels, such as Tipo, City Life and Life available on three body variants, namely 4-door, 5-door and Station Wagon, while the Cross one is available in two trim levels, City Cross and Cross. and in the 5-door crossover body variant.
As mentioned, the restyling of the Fiat Tipo starts with the look, which appears more captivating, young and dynamic. To stand out are the redesigned grille on which the new Fiat logo stands out, the redesigned headlights that now adopt full-led technology both in the front and rear, the redesigned bumper in the lower part of the car and the new 16 “or 17” alloy wheels with diamond finishes and new designs. Stylistic innovations also for what concerns the interiors, starting from the exclusive design of the seat fabrics and the renewal of the steering wheel, which is now more elegant and sporty. From a technological point of view, the 7 ″ TFT digital cluster, which replaces the traditional analog instrument panel and joins the new UConnect 5 radio with 10.25 ″ touch screen.
In terms of safety, the new Fiat Tipo is equipped with a wide range of latest generation driver assistance systems. Finally, the range of engines has also been renewed and is extended from diesel to petrol solutions. As for petrol, the new Fiat Tipo can be equipped with a three-cylinder GSE 1.0, which releases a total power of 100 HP and delivers a maximum torque of 190 Nm. In terms of diesel, however, the renewed version of the compact is offered. with 95 HP and 130 HP Multijet engines. Furthermore, for maximum respect for the environment, the new Tipo can be purchased with the D-Fence package, consisting of three devices that jointly the passenger compartment from external weather.
The crossover variant of the Turin compact, or the new Tipo Cross, also deserves a mention. The car boasts a most impressive and tallest structure, and has a new grille design that extends to under the headlights and is obviously higher. Differences with the standard variant also for what concerns the tires, given that those mounted on the Cross are larger and with a much more robust look. The new Tipo range, thus including the Cross variant, is available starting from 13,900 euros, combined with the loan from FCA Bank, and will be present in Fiat dealerships from the end of November.
