AN IMPORTANT MODEL – The Brazilian branch of Fiat has released all the details of the Fiat Pulse, the small SUV developed for the South American market, which was unveiled last summer. This is a very important model for Fiat, which is one of the best-selling brands in South America and in Brazil in particular. At the moment it is not expected the arrival of this model in Europe.
YOUTH LINE – Engineered on the new MLA platform, the Fiat Pulse it stands out for its youthful design with well-proportioned volumes and different style details that would not look out of place on a European model. The dimensions are as follows: length of 410 cm, width of 178 and height of 158 cm, with a step of 253 cm. The trunk has a capacity of 370 liters.
MODERN INTERIORS – The interior of the Fiat Pulse they see the presence of a modern digital instrumentation, visible on a 7 “screen and a 10.1” (or 8.4 “, depending on the trim level) LCD panel positioned overhanging in the center of the dashboard. The multimedia system is compatible with Connect Me digital services, there is also a wireless connection for the smartphone and compatibility with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
A NEW 1.0 TURBO – Under the hood of the Fiat Pulse we find the new 1.0 Turbo 200 Flex engine. It is an aluminum 3-cylinder MultiAir petrol engine that can run on both ethanol and petrol, with outputs of 130 and 125 hp respectively. The torque is 200 Nm. The engine is combined with a CVT automatic transmission with the ability to simulate 7 gears. Alternatively, there is the 101 1.3 Firefly (or 109 HP depending on the fuel), with 139 Nm of torque, combined with the 5-speed manual gearbox or the automatic CVT.
HOW MUCH? – On the Brazilian market the Fiat Pulse it has a price equivalent to about 12,000 euros, which becomes about 18,000 in the top-of-the-range variant.
