Fiat Panda and Tipo: here’s how they change

3 December 2020 – 16:12

Two variants enhance the range of the city car and the compact, now more than ever intended for the general public and with a highly articulated offer

of Maurizio Bertera

As announced, Fiat has put the offer back in order and strengthens what it defines as the “functional family”, consisting of Panda and Tipo, while leaving 500 – in the various declinations – the role of “aspirational” car with a strong push towards electric . Hence an identical structure for functional cars that will have three different souls as the FCA brand likes (Life, Sport and Cross: each with its own set-ups) with the immediate inclusion of Tipo Cross and Panda Sport. The eternal Panda (reached 8 million units in 40 years of career, in the photo the new line-up) and the Tipo: two models that represent 58% of total sales of Fiat cars and 40% of total FCA : strong numbers, even if largely made on the domestic market.
