A challenge really unusual is the one that has seen one opposite Fiat Panda Cross it’s a Tesla Model X. Organizer of this race one youtuber British who wanted to test the skills off road of the two all-wheel drive models. On the one hand, we therefore have the most famous small car in Italy in its version of compact off-road vehicle, on the other hand the Electric SUV of the Elon Musk brand.
Also interesting is the mode of competition. In fact, the challenge is divided into several parts, each one that tests the different off-road qualities of the two protagonist cars. Whoever wins the “heat” gets a certain amount of points, which will then be added up at the end of the tests to decide the final winner.

Fiat Panda Cross vs Tesla Model X: the video of the off road challenge
At least on paper, the Model X used in this challenge has an advantage, thanks to its characteristics. First of all, thanks to its weight, much greater than that of the small Italian and which in theory can allow it a greater grip on mud and dirt. Moreover, the same Tesla owns an electric power train that delivers 416 hp of power and 660 Nm of couple. The Panda Crossinstead, it is fitted under the hood with a 900 cc turbo engine capable of delivering 85 hp and 145 Nm.

In fact, the Italian model starts strong, winning the first tests immediately. Tesla tries to reassemble, but nothing to do: the Fiat he hardly ever misses a shot. In the end, the result is 11 to 7 for the Panda Cross, great winner of this challenge in the mud.
