BPM Group is in sixth place in the ranking of the main distributors of FCA group brands in France.

As in previous years, the classification communicated by FCA no longer includes the Motor Village subsidiary, which was in second position in 2020. The Hess group remains the leading French operator for the group’s brands and is ahead of Koala (6e last year) and Sipa (4e). Building on the buyout of the Chartres, Dreux, Le Mans, Alençon and Laval concessions from the Saussereau group at the start of 2020, BPM Group enters the top 10.

The latter strengthened its position in the FCA network at the start of the year with the acquisition of the company Prestiges Automobile, which allows it to cover the cities of Orleans, Montargis and Bourges. Established in Normandy, the Martenat group also incorporates this classification (Autodefi no longer appears there this year). In total, the top 10 represented a volume of 20,433 new cars in 2020, ie a drop of 40.7% compared to the total achieved by the ten main distributors last year. It accounted for 24% of FCA sales in France.
