“Fövqəladə Hallar Nazirliyi and State Fire Protection and State Fire Control Services jointly organized a training on “Emergency Behavior Rules and Evacuation” at the “Gənclik Mall” shopping center located at 14 Fətəli Xan Xoyski street, Nərimanov district, Baku city.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to SIA, the purpose of the training, which involved the relevant personnel and equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was to instill emergency behavior rules, including during fires, to the staff of the “Gənclik Mall” shopping center, as well as to further improve the functioning of fire protection departments during possible fires in such facilities.
During the theoretical part of the training, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided detailed information to the staff of the facility about emergency situations, including necessary behavior rules during fires and evacuation measures. In addition, the participants were shown practical demonstrations of the use of fire extinguishing equipment and their questions were answered.
During the practical part of the training, when the simulated fire alarm signal “Həyəcan” was given, the forces of the Nərimanov district Fire Protection Section of the State Fire Protection Service arrived at the scene in an operational manner and started the “firefighting” measures. According to the evacuation plan, the safe evacuation of the staff was carried out in the simulated fire-affected shopping center, and first aid was provided to the simulated injured staff. The simulated fire was extinguished quickly.
The training was successfully completed and the set goals were achieved.”
