Mexico City. The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in collaboration with the Mexican Navy Secretariat (Semar) carried out the seizure of three tons 275 kilos of marijuana at the Maritime Customs Office located in the Port of Veracruz.
The Federal Public Ministry began an investigation folder for crimes against health against whoever is responsible, in a joint operation in which they had the support of canine pairs, it was possible to secure 22 pallets on which a total of 154 came. bases of supposed plaster for making tables and inside which 1,120 packages containing three tons and 275 kilos of cannabis were hidden.
The operation was carried out based on an alert by the Port Complex when carrying out an intrusive inspection of the merchandise for export that was destined for the Dominican Republic and came from Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The drugs were kept safe and placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry in Veracruz.
