FFSA Calendar: Circuit de la Boule d’or Returns for a Spectacular Karting Event in Loudun

The return to the FFSA calendar of the Circuit de la Boule d’or is an event in itself! The meeting on October 14 and 15 will undoubtedly be a great karting moment. It must be said that the site lends itself to this, with its wooded environment, its magnificent layout and its glorious past! Loudun is located in the commune of Bournand in the Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine Nord, equidistant – or almost – from Tours, Poitiers, Niort, Cholet and Angers.

On the one hand, ASK Loudun will welcome all categories in a Course Club, which many pilots have already included in their agenda. On the other hand, the Future Racing Agency, promoter of Formula 20,000, promises a quality field. At the wheel of 100 cm3 karts from the end of the 80s to the beginning of the 2000s, we will find 5 French champions including a triple champion and a European vice-champion, 1 bronze medalist at the European championship, 2 vice-champions champions of France, etc. (Non-exhaustive list)

We recall that the Boule d’Or circuit saw its share of champions of this sport, during French championships which remained in the memory of enthusiasts of the time. It is therefore particularly interesting, for karting as a whole and for local sporting life, to see the site revived for competition. Karting Loudun and its director Yoann Briant, as well as the ASK of Loudun through its president David Delalande, are therefore to be associated in the same flow of thanks.

Please note that the circuit will be open for training on Friday and Saturday!
