For Orkun Kökcü, the stocking is over after his fight with Dusan Tadic, just before Davy Klaassen was hit by a lighter and the Classic (1-2) was stopped. He did see the Ajax captain make ‘gestures’.
Tadic made a gesture that could be interpreted as “eating something” during the Ramadan period. Kökcü went crazy, but says he did not experience the movements much discussed on social media as such. “He brought me to the ground and said things. I don’t know exactly what, but then I got high in my emotions.”
The Feyenoord captain does not comment on Tadic’s texts. “He did make gestures, but I don’t know exactly what he meant by that. I certainly didn’t like it, you could tell by my reaction. But I don’t know exactly what he said and what kind of gestures he made.”
Kökcü then looks at himself. “I often have moments like this. In competitions I am a fairly emotional boy and often involved in such moments. I don’t talk well. That is not always the case. Now that I have cooled down and look back, I think: it looks good stupid. At that moment you can’t always control it.”
