Feyenoord’s difficult program in October

Apart from the international break, Feyenoord plays a match every three to four days in October. The series starts next Wednesday with an away match against Girona, and the difficult period ends in November with a home match against RB Salzburg. In between, FC Twente, Go Ahead, Benfica, FC Utrecht, Ajax and AZ are the opponents.

The last week of October in particular is one to circle in red. Away games against Benfica and FC Utrecht and De Klassieker follow each other within a few days that week. Duels in which the positive trend can return in one fell swoop, but also matches that no Feyenoord player will be able to attend with peace of mind.

The Rotterdammers are no longer concerned with the title. Captain Quinten Timber has repeatedly reiterated that PSV should no longer be watched for the time being, while Priske even said after the defeat against NEC that the championship had never been discussed. “We have to focus on October, not May,” the Dane told ESPN.
