Feyenoord Under 17 has paid a heartwarming tribute to the accident Ajaxtalent Noah Gesser. The youth team of the stadium club took a photo at the training complex on which the players pose with a Gesser shirt.
On the shirt is a photo of Gesser, with the text ‘rest in peace’. The sixteen-year-old striker died on Friday evening with his brother in a traffic accident. That terrible news caused a lot of support from football. Feyenoord also came with a public response. “Shocked by this news… Feyenoord wishes all relatives a lot of strength and strength in processing this loss,” the Rotterdammers wrote on social media.

Gesser played for Ajax since the summer of 2018. Before that he played for amateur club Alphense Boys. Gesser was known as a talent and regularly scored in the Ajax youth. Last season he was accurate eleven times in six league matches for Ajax U16. Next season he would play in the Under 17 team of the team from Amsterdam.
