Marcos López must become the new left back of Feyenoord, reports 1908.nl. The Rotterdammers have already started negotiations with San Jose Earthquakes.
22-year-old López plays his matches in the American Major League Soccer and has a contract until the end of the year. The Peru international is open to a move to Feyenoord and is a good acquaintance of Renato Tapia.
López is seen as a backup option and must be prepared in the background for a place in the starting line in the coming months. The left leg has a market value of just under two million euros. López has made 20 appearances for Peru so far.
Left back Derry John Murkin is no longer in the picture at Feyenoord. Internally, there were too many doubts about his arrival. However, the 24-year-old left back Matías Viña of AS Roma is still concretely associated with the Rotterdam team.
