According to 1908, the transfer from Lingr to Feyenoord gained momentum on Monday. Everything was then completed within 24 hours. 1908 and De Telegraaf therefore report that it concerns a lease with Slavia Prague, the (for the time being) current club of 24-year-old Lingr. “A mandatory purchase option is attached to the rental deal, but that offers the advantage that a club does not immediately have to pay a hefty transfer fee and can already have the player,” read the morning paper.
Lingr, which will eventually cost Feyenoord 4 million euros, is said to be presented in De Kuip in the short term. Three years ago, Slavia Prague paid 500,000 euros for him. The imminent arrival of the number 10 may also have consequences for the further transfer policy of the reigning national champion. It is unlikely that both Luka Ivanusec and Oussama Idrissi will come to Rotterdam. Feyenoord will probably choose between the two.
