Feyenoord publishes video clip ‘Making Memories’

In the run-up to the second half of the season, Feyenoord presents the video clip ‘Feyenoord, Making Memories’. Because the best memories are the memories that have yet to be made. That is the message the club wants to convey in the video published today (Thursday), as a kick-off of what should be a successful year.

The transformation of the first team under Arne Slot, with wintering in Europe and a top ranking in the Eredivisie as a provisional result. The spectacular entrance of Feyenoord Women 1, a team that was there from day one and wrote history. And the development of the youth within Feyenoord Academy, learning non-stop on their way that should one day lead to De Kuip. All memories of the year 2021.

To confirm that this should lead to more and new (sporting) memories in 2022, players from Feyenoord, Feyenoord Women 1 and Feyenoord Academy have been brought together especially for a campaign video. It is the first time in the club’s history that these three ‘football pillars’ come together in this way, literally and figuratively.

In the video they sing the song ‘Love U More’ together with various supporter groups. The original is by Sunscreem, but it became a well-known rave classic (‘Luv U More’) thanks to the cover by DJ Paul Elstak. The song has been given a new look and again produced by the gospel choir G-Roots. This track in combination with a voice-over with the theme ‘Making Memories’ results in a unique production, in which the love for Feyenoord and making new memories together is central.
