RB Leipzig is still very interested in Geertruida and has already made an offer of twenty million euros for the international, but Feyenoord did not agree. Driver Dennis te Kloese is firmly in control and would require an amount of between 35 and 40 million euros for the Dutchman, who is under contract in Rotterdam until 2025.
Feyenoord recently said goodbye to Orkun Kökcü, who left for Benfica for 25 million euros. The team from Rotterdam will only say goodbye to Geertruida when that club record can be broken and, according to the German medium, even 30 million euros would not be enough to convince Te Kloese. Geertruida already made it clear to trainer Arne Slot last week that he would like to make the switch. Sky speaks of a ‘complicated situation’.
Complicated situation around the deal with Lutsharel Geertruida: Yes, @RBLeipzig & the player are in verbal agreement. But, as already reported: @Feyenoord wants to make a record transfer. As of now, €30m is not enough either. Rotterdam meanwhile imagine €35m-€40m. @SkySportDE
