The 23rd season of Who is the mole? kicked off Saturday on NPO1 with over 2.63 million viewers. This is much less than in recent years, according to data from Stichting KijkOnderzoek (SKO).
The last three series regulars immediately attracted at least 3 million viewers in their early run. An additional season in fall 2020 opened to audiences of 2.66 million people.
The last time less than 2.63 million people watched the first episode was in 2016. Then more than 2.16 million viewers tuned in to AVROTROS’ hit show.
SKO adjusts viewing data in a week, when you know how many viewers watched “deferred.” These are the people watching the episode later on their TV. In general, this is not a large number of viewers.
Who is the mole? Saturday was by far the most watched program on Dutch television. Also I quit, which aired later, did well with nearly 1.5 million viewers. NPO3 has also done good business with Mol Talkhas a talk show of Who is the mole?. More than a million people have seen it.
The commercial channels all remained below one million viewers. To the program I do not know 919,000 people watched RTL 4 and SBS6 totaled 665,000 viewers with The Tribute – Battle of the Bands.
