For many years, the artists accumulated anger towards each other.
The main female roles in the comedy “Three Plus Two” went to Natalya Fateeva and Natalya Kustinskaya. The young artists looked so natural on camera that the audience was sure that they were friends even outside the set. However, as it turned out, their relationship developed completely differently.
The fact is that Fateeva was sure: it was Kustinskaya who destroyed her third marriage with cosmonaut Boris Egorov. The pilot really left Fateeva for her colleague, but, as Kustinskaya assured, he made this decision because he truly fell in love with her.
After this incident, the hostility between the artists began to gain momentum. After some time, Kustinskaya received an offer to star in a foreign project along with Sean Connery and other celebrities. She passed all the auditions, but the Soviet authorities did not let her go abroad. And after some time, the artist learned that this decision was made by the first deputy chairman of the KGB, who was building a relationship with Fateeva.
And until the end of Kustinskaya’s life, the artists failed to establish communication. In the interview, they did not miss the opportunity to talk about their enmity and did not hide their hostility towards each other.
