Festive Febri Diansyah Vs Fahri Hamzah When Cooking Oil Heats Up

The former spokesperson for the KPK, Febri Diansyah involved in a debate with the chairman of the Gelora Party, Fahri Hamzah in twitter. The two of them argued about the role of the KPK regarding the investigation into the export of cooking oil raw materials.

The debate was about the AGO’s move to stipulate the Director General of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Trade (Dirjen Daglu Kemendag) Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in granting export facilities for crude palm oil or CPO or cooking oil. He was snared along with 3 other people from the private sector.

This case made cooking oil rare and expensive some time ago. Attorney General ST Burhanuddin immediately announced the determination of the suspects.

“The actions of the suspects resulted in state economic losses or resulted in the expensiveness and scarcity of cooking oil so that there was a decrease in household consumption and small industries that use cooking oil and made people’s lives difficult,” said Burhanuddin at his office, Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, South Jakarta, Tuesday ( 19/4/2022).

The 3 suspects from the private sector are:

– Master Parulian Tumanggor as Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia

– Stanley MA as Senior Manager Corporate Affairs for Permata Hijau Group (PHG)

– Picare Tagore Sitanggang as General Manager at the General Affair Division of PT Musim Mas

The debate between the two began with a tweet from Febri Diansyah via his Twitter account @febridiansyah which highlighted the KPK. He criticized the KPK for being busy with allegations of violating the KPK leadership’s code of ethics when the Attorney General’s Office was investigating the cooking oil mafia case.

“When the KPK was in the spotlight about the alleged acceptance of leadership gratification & an internal scandal, the Attorney General’s Office announced an investigation into the corruption of the cooking oil mafia,” Febri said via a tweet on his account. detik.comWednesday (20/4/2022).

Not without reason, Febri highlighted the recent news about the KPK which was instead preoccupied with the case of Lili Pintauli Siregar, who allegedly received accommodation facilities and tickets to watch the Mandalika MotoGP some time ago. On the other hand, the AGO made a breakthrough by ensnaring the Director General of Daglu at the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, as a suspect.

“Is the KPK really going to be a thing of the past, forgotten and abandoned? This question can only be answered with performance, not gimmicks,” he said.

Then, in the next tweet, Febri Diansyah poked Fahri Hamzah, who he said often praised the KPK under KPK chairman Firli Bahuri. He alluded to the logic that if the KPK does not catch the corrupt, it means that corruption has gone down.

“But @Fahrihamzah seems to praise the current KPK more often. Maybe it’s also considered better after more than 2 years under the leadership of this period. If the KPK doesn’t catch corruptors, it means that corruption has decreased. Could that be logical?” said Febri Diansyah while poking Fahri Hamzah with a smile emoticon.
