Festivals for the cultural summer in southern Hesse

The program of the cultural summer of southern Hesse, which begins in August, also includes a number of festivals in the Odenwald. There are also readings, cabaret and exhibitions.

WIf he spends the holidays at home, there are numerous offers in the program of the Kultursommer Südhessen (KUSS), which begins in August and lasts until September 18th, which relate to the districts of Offenbach, Groß-Gerau, Bergstraße, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Groß-Gerau , the Odenwald district and the city of Darmstadt. They are aimed at all ages and interest groups.

Some of the concerts offered within the series are almost legendary. For example “Sound of Forest” at the Marbach reservoir in the Odenwald from August 4th to 8th, “Nonstock” in Nonrod from August 5th to 6th, the Steinbachwiesen Open-Air from August 5th to 7th in Fürth in the Odenwald or the Finkenbach Festival from August 26th to 28th in the Finkenbachtal.
