QUEBEC, the 2 sept. 2021 / CNW Telbec / – The Quebec government awards financial assistance of $ 117,580 to the Jazz parties Rimouski, which will take place in accordance with health instructions until September 5. The Minister of Culture and Communications, Mme Nathalie Roy, and the Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Lanaudière and Bas-Saint-Laurent regions, Mme Caroline Proulx, made the announcement today.
The board des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles, 2 government corporations under the functions of the Minister of Culture and Communications, are granting the sum of $ 83,080 within the framework of their respective programs. For its part, the Ministry of Tourism is making a contribution of $ 34,500 through the program Financial assistance for festivals and tourist events. This amount includes a one-off bonus relating to the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry.
