QUÉBEC, July 24 2022 /CNW Telbec/ – The Minister of Culture and Communications, Ms.me Nathalie Roy, announces that financial assistance of $900,000 has been granted to the Quebec Opera Festival which will run until August 4.

The Festival d’Opéra de Québec has given itself the mission of presenting French-language operatic works that will appeal to opera lovers of all ages and that will charm a new audience. This 11e edition offers a journey featuring 4 original theatrical productions. The Festival also offers its Brigade lyrique, which gives emerging artists the opportunity to meet the public, as well as its opera circuit, which will retrace the history of the Opéra de Québec thanks to five stations dotted around the streets of Old Quebec.
