“Fair loves art” Festival 2023
After the successful premiere, the “Fair loves art” festival in the Zellerau is entering the second round. The Environment Station of the City of Würzburg and the district management in Zellerau, in cooperation with the Würzburg creatives Maria Martin (ma.mind), Anja Wagenbrenner (Frieda&Emil) and Julia Heinrich (Iloveyoulaugh), are organizing a colorful and lovingly compiled program on the subject of sustainability and creativity throughout the Zellerau .

Mozartfest 2023
Mozart shaped Würzburg for a month. The renowned classical music festival will once again attract visitors from near and far in 2023. In one month there are 84 concerts, including 55 original works by the musical genius. In addition to the classical concerts, events for everyone will again be offered. So the night music in the Hofgarten and the Mozart Day in the city center should not be missing.

Africa Festival 2023
The Africa Festival is taking place in Würzburg for the 34th time. Europe’s largest festival for African music and culture will once again be a guest on the Mainwiesen for four days and take you to foreign cultures. In addition to the bazaar and food stalls, African fashion and exhibitions will be shown again, a children’s program will be offered and of course there will be a lot of music to be heard.

Free & Outdoor Festival 2023
Prices are going up, everything is getting more expensive. Nevertheless, admission to the “U&D” is and will remain free! This and the peaceful atmosphere make this institution popular with young and old alike. The basic idea of the Umsonst & Drout is to offer small local bands from the Würzburg area a stage to present their good music. It therefore offers the ideal opportunity to discover new, promising bands. This year the U&D in Würzburg will take place a week earlier than usual.

Wein am Stein 2023
You can experience live music in a particularly beautiful summer atmosphere at Wein am Stein. In a cozy and gallant atmosphere, you can enjoy your Franconian wine either directly between the vineyards or in front of the stage with a view of the whole city. Advance sales start in March.

Exit: am Stein 2023
The same location, the same ambience as Wein am Stein. The Exit: Family is just known for events with fine electronic music (see Tanzinsel). And who doesn’t enjoy the sounds of Fritz Kalkbrenner with a pint in hand at sunset?

Würzburg harbor summer in the old harbor
Extraordinary ambience – extraordinary festival: This year, the Würzburg Harbor Summer is once again offering concerts directly on the water in the old harbour. With a magnificent view, high-quality live acts can be particularly enjoyed.

Street Music Festival (Stramu) 2023
For the 18th time, the Stramu 2023, one of the largest stage-free street art festivals in Europe, will take place and transform the city center of Würzburg into a large stage. On every corner there is real street music at eye level. In addition to lots of music, there will again be street theatre, juggling, dancing, fire shows and magic. Admission is free as always, donations for the respective bands are welcome.

Tanzinsel Open Air Gemünden 2023
10,000 fans of electronic music make a pilgrimage to the three-river city of Gemünden every year, this year for the big tenth anniversary edition. Special trains will again run from Würzburg to Gemünden.
