For Pentecost Christians, this Pentecost weekend is time for one of the largest festivals in the Netherlands: Opwekking. Normally services are followed in large tents and there is a lot of singing along with performances. But no tents this year; corona throws a spanner in the works. Generation does offer an alternative: a digital version, on your phone or laptop.
One of the main acts is the occasion composition of Eline Bakker, Kees Kraayenoord and Reyer Van Drongelen. They wrote the song last year Jesus Conqueror and immediately it was a hit. Again in this time of corona many people draw strength from the song.
