Around 200 visitors celebrated the midsummer festival in the park at the House of People’s Solidarity in Ludwigslust. They experienced music of very different shades.

The first guests came an hour before the start of the Midsummer Festival of the Southwest Mecklenburg People’s Solidarity. After two years of a corona-related break, it was finally possible to celebrate again in the park at the House of People’s Solidarity Am Alten Forsthof. There was a lot of activity on the whole site. Seniors, families and numerous employees of the social and welfare association enjoyed a convivial summer evening with concerts. And with the best weather.

“We are so happy that we can celebrate the longest day of the year with live music again,” Silke Schotte from Volkssolidarität opened the colorful program. The North German singer-songwriter Gerrit Hoss presented his program with profound songs in High and Low German on stage. Afterwards, the Irish folk band “Nuthouse Flowers” provided folk music from the island until late in the evening.
