The second edition from festival Surforganized by theuniversity of western brittany (UBO), will be held from March 7 to 11, 2022 in various locations, at Brest (Ateliers des Capucins, UBO, Océanopolis, Mac Orlan…) and in surrounding towns (Plouzané,…). An event that mixes arts and sciences.

On display, 36 appointments : 12 spectaclesnew expositionsas much met and five conferences. Researchers, students, teachers, artists are mobilized to raise public awareness.
“Ressac dares to bring together photography, visual arts, theatre, music, dance… and neuroscience, biology, fisheries, artificial intelligence, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and many other unexpected combinations”, argue the organizers.

science in music
Among the proposals, science in music Wednesday 9 March at the Ateliers des Capucins, at 6 p.m. A scientific conference will be led by researchers from the Perception Sonore team, around acoustic phenomena. It will be followed by a symphonic concert by the University Orchestra of Brest, conducted by Jean-Philippe Brun.
