Fjordfesten set a record in ticket sales before they had to cancel. Det Norske Teatret is worried about this autumn’s ticket sales now that stage four of the reopening has been postponed.

– We are very proud that we have tried. We had managed to carry out the festival and all the volunteers have been on. It was close, says Hanne Børresen Johansen. She is the organizer of the festival Fjordfesten in Sandefjord. It was to be held 6-7. August.
That’s not how it will be. Since the government is now postponing the introduction of step four in the reopening plan, the festival had to be canceled.
At the press conference on Wednesday, Minister of Health Bent Høie (H) stated that the threat from the delta variant is too great for the authorities to believe it is responsible to open up further.
