In coordination with the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball confederation (Norceca), staff from the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES) delivered the new court that the Volleyball Gym will wear, located in the Flor Blanca Sports Complex.
“Thanks to the help of the ad honorem president of INDES, Yamil Bukele, we managed to stabilize our field and we are working to leave it ready for the national championship and also to make it available for the training of the national teams for next week, so We are running because we have a lot of work pending,” commented Guillermo Polanco, technical manager of Fesavol.
Polanco also thanked the help of Fesavol collaborators and athletes, who helped to set up the new court in the renovated facilities.
“We are very happy to be able to return to the facilities, it is a good opportunity for everyone. “I want to thank the athletes and collaborators of the federation for taking the time to support the assembly of the floor,” he added.
The 2024 National Volleyball Championship started on March 16 and 17 with the participation of 130 teams, which will now benefit from being able to compete in the modern facilities of the Volleyball Gymnasium of the Flor Blanca Sports Complex.
“We are playing with more than 100 teams, including those of our collaborators who are providing us with facilities to develop the national championship that has third, second and first category competitions, both men and women,” he concluded.
