Robin van Persie’s training sessions impress the Feyenoord attackers. Bryan Linssen hopes to be able to work with the all-time top scorer of the Dutch national team for a long time to come.
Van Persie is a specialist trainer for the people of Rotterdam and if it is up to Linssen, he will continue with that. “What Robin adds to the training is real quality,” said the left winger The Telegraph. “I honestly say that the training that Robin gives, the forms he uses and the way in which he explains it all, are incredibly good.”
Linssen wants to achieve double digits in terms of goals. “Who better to learn from than from someone who was a master of finding space and scoring? Robin has been fantastic throughout his career in and around sixteen,” says the attacker who came over from Vitesse, who hopes that Van Persie will soon start working full-time. “Preferably for the next three years for which I signed here.”
According to Linssen, there is a thought behind Van Persie everywhere. “They are very professional training sessions. We are not just hitting the goal with him one day a week, which is what players like to do. He knows well how to explain everything he has seen or wants to improve.”
