The story starts in 2006 in Amsterdam. A ruthless Ferry Bouman works for hash baron Brink, a powerful criminal and Ferry’s mentor. One day the gang is brutally attacked and Brink’s son is seriously injured. When the traces point to a group of campers in Brabant, Ferry is sent to find the culprits. After years of absence, Ferry returns to his native region, which he fled a long time ago. The difficult reunion with the family from whom he is estranged, the return to the camping life he had renounced and the meeting with his charming neighbor Daniëlle slowly creep under Ferry’s steel armor. His quest leads to unexpected disconnections, and Ferry’s loyalty is ultimately put to the test.
