We already reportedthat at the end of last week it was officially announced that this year’s Ipra WRC rally will not take place in Belgium, because the case of “Covid-19” has been growing rapidly recently, as a result of which stricter restrictions were imposed in the country.-
“Currently, the health of the population, care workers, our staff and volunteers, participants and all rally fans comes first. We have followed the health crisis in close consultation with local authorities. Unfortunately, the incidence continues to rise dramatically. This decision is not an easy one, especially “We had the opportunity to bring a dream to Belgium. But now we have to think about the people. At the moment, the world is not connected with rallies,” the organizers said in a statement.
Initially, the final Junior WRC stage had to be completed within the Ipra WRC rally, where the leaders in the championship are currently Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis. Although this stage has been canceled, it is known that now the final stage of the Junior WRC will take place in a month in Italy, at the Monza Rally.
