Ferrari’s Formula 1 team will unveil its new car on February 13 next year. The Italian racing team was the first team to announce the date of the presentation on Monday.
Ferrari is saying goodbye to the concept of the past two years and will probably (like most teams) choose a design that has more similarities with the successful Red Bull.
Team boss Fred Vasseur announced that the Scuderia will come with a car that is 95 percent new. Just like the last two years, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz form the driver duo.
With the new car, Ferrari wants to attempt to stop the dominance of Red Bull and Max Verstappen. Red Bull won 21 of the 22 Grands Prix this year and Verstappen was assured of his third title months before the end of the season. Sainz was the only non-Red Bull driver who managed to win a race.
The Formula 1 season starts on March 2 with the Bahrain Grand Prix. The test days are scheduled in the desert state from February 21 to 23.
