According to media reports, Ferran Jutgla (23) is about to move from Belgium to the Italian Serie A. FC Barcelona would probably also be happy about a possible transfer.
Ferran Jutgla switched from FC Barcelona to FC Brugge in the summer of 2022 for a fee of five million euros. Jutgla made headlines in the Champions League with the Belgian giants, the underdogs qualifying for the Round of 16 where Benfica Lisbon await as opponents.
Jutgla could be missing in the duel with Portugal’s record champions. According to Todofichajes, the attacker is drawn to Serie A. According to media reports, Lazio Roma are trying to get Jutgla. The transfer fee is said to be 15 million euros.
Should Jutgla move to the Italian capital for the sum mentioned, FC Barcelona would be involved with 1.5 million euros. The Catalans negotiated a 10% resale percentage when their striker signed last summer.
In 2021, Jutgla joined FC Barcelona’s second team on a free transfer from city rivals Espanyol. In the meantime he ran for the professionals, but coach Xavi Hernandez apparently did not trust the 23-year-old to make the final breakthrough in LaLiga, and the Barça coach gave the green light for a change in August.
Jutgla has scored ten goals and provided seven assists for Brugge so far this season. In the Champions League he has four goals (two goals and two assists each) in the group stage.
