In the statement sent by Fenič Práva, he states that this owner has never respected the terms of the sales contract to Febiofest, s.ro
“Trademarks, domains, Febiofest and the Prague International Film Festival – Febiofest, of which I was able to regain ownership, cannot now be used by third parties without my consent. The company that has so far managed the IFF of Prague – Febiofest also puts an end to the right to continue organizing the Prague IFF – Febiofest, ”says Fenič.
He also says that despite his best efforts to find a solution that prevented the 29-year tradition of the largest film festival in the history of the capital Prague from breaking up, he finally had to come up with this solution to prevent further damage to the festival’s name. , to its collaborators and suppliers.
However, he will make every effort to save the festival and get a new owner for it.
“I believe that, although probably not on the usual and provisionally scheduled date, its originally planned jubilee, thirtieth year will take place in the near future and the IFF – Febiofest in Prague will have a new life,” adds Fenič.
