Deportivo Pereira surprised on Saturday night, after tying against Atlético Bucaramanga as a visitor, announcing that, by mutual agreement, Fernando Uribe He stopped belonging to the institution. The news was unexpected, because although he was recovering from an injury, he only returned from retirement in July to wear the shirt of the team that made him known.
“We appreciate the wisdom and honesty of Mr. Fernando Uribe in terminating, by mutual agreement, the signed contract. with the institution as a professional soccer player. The experience and trajectory was notable during the time he belonged to the team, giving results that led the Matecaña team to score important points in the BetPlay Dimayor 2024-II League,” reads the team’s statement.
Uribe, 36, had announced that he would leave football at the end of 2023, when he was defending the colors of Millonarios. However, after feeling the “desire” to be on the field again, he signed for the Risaraldense team in July of this year, contributing with a goal in six games played.

Uribe published a message on his Instagram account in which he said goodbye to the team that gave him the opportunity to return to the fields and, in turn, with which he ended his career.
