Fernando Alonso returns to television with Renault – F1 – Autobild.es

Renault will launch next Sunday the new advertising campaign for its new E-TECH range, and this will be attended by Fernando Alonso. Through it, the brand values ​​the benefit of the experience accumulated in the Formula 1 – with hybrid engines since 2015 – to improve the product that customers drive on the street and on the highway.

The two-time champion of F1, who returns to the championship in 2021 as a driver for the Alpine brand (of the Renault Group) will be the image of the brand’s electrified range, E-TECH. Alonso will be in charge of demonstrating how technology is transferred to Renault’s range of street vehicles, in an accessible way for all audiences and with more than 150 patents.

“We work hard not only to make a man drive better, but to take everyone further”, is the message of the campaign, in which, with a human touch, it is about transmitting the passion story of both engineers and drivers and the symbiosis that occurs between both worlds, aspects that are reflected in the range of street vehicles equipped with the technology E-TECH hybrid.

The international campaign kicks off the new image of Renault, offering a full range of zero-emission, hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. Among them are the Renault Captur or Mégane, produced in Spain.

The campaign also includes a nod to the past, using an updated version of the famous song “Johnny and Mary” by Robert Palmer, which became an icon of the image of Renault three decades ago, as a regular part of their advertising spots, and that many people in Spain will remember.

The new spot will be broadcast this Sunday, February 21, through a launch in the afternoon news on the main television networks in our country, as well as an important presence on social networks.
