Official sources reported that Alberto Fernández offered to donate half of his salary to the Malbrán Institute for four months, as a way to repair the potential damage caused to public health.
The purpose of the president’s presentation was “to propose the reparation of the potential damage that had been caused” with the violation of strict isolation in the Quinta de Olivos, “offering to deposit half of his salary to the Malbrán Institute for four consecutive months,” they said. from the Government.
Gregorio Dalbón, Alberto Fernández’s lawyer, confirmed the presentation, although he denied that he had committed a crime. Speaking to Radio 10, he explained: “Without prejudice to not having committed a crime, he said that he regretted a mistake he had made, that it was not going to happen again and that he was going to take charge.”
Regarding the proposal to donate half of the salary, the lawyer said that “it is a way to repair, even if he has not committed a crime, because if something put at risk it was public health”, for which he decided to make the donation to the Malbrán Institute.
“It is the best exit that the President of the Nation has. He is an honest man and he will end up without any criminal cause like Raúl Alfonsín. It is the best exit for a man of integrity,” he said.
