Fernandes: “We need to be consistent” – Man Utd

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes gave his honest thoughts after losing to Bournemouth.

Manchester United did not perform well against Bournemouth. It is a bit disappointing compared to the 2-1 win against Chelsea in midweek.

“We should have shown consistency through winning. “If you don’t show a good performance in the next game, you won’t win.”

“We did not show the consistency of the previous game.”

“There was a problem with concentration or something else. But there are definitely things we need to recognize and take away after the win.”

“We have to keep winning consistently. Sometimes your performance may not be good. But the result has to be victory.”

Despite the loss, Fernandes said he had to make up for what he lacked in the Bournemouth game. He especially talked about his decisiveness in front of the gate.

“There was a good opportunity. “Especially in the beginning of the second half.”

“But the players didn’t move much into the box.”

“You need to be desperate to score. “Just like the last game.”

“If you want to score a goal more desperately, you have to come into the box more and create more trouble in the opponent’s box. “We need to cross more and win the ball.”

“I couldn’t show that today.”

Manchester United’s next game is a midweek Champions League match. We must win the match against Bayern Munich.

In addition, Copenhagen and Galatasaray must draw to advance to the round of 16. Fernandez emphasized that we must first focus on our game.
