Fermin Lopez, the promising player in the Spanish club Barcelona squad, caught the attention of the football fans during the few minutes he got in the friendly El Clasico match against rivals Real Madrid, which was held in the US state of Texas in Dallas.
Firmin Lopez scored and assisted in the last five minutes of the match, contributing to Barca’s 3-0 victory, after which he was praised by the fans and coach Xavi Hernandez.
Lopez (20 years old) participated as a substitute in the match at the 66th minute, and tried to change the face of the match in light of the control of Real Madrid, until his mark appeared during the last minutes.
Barcelona advanced in the result with the goal of carrying the signature of Osman Dembele during the first minutes of the first half, and at the end of the second half Fermin Lopez added the second goal, before passing an amazing ball from which Ferran Torres scored the third goal in the 90 + 3 minute.
Lopez spoke after the Real Madrid match, saying: “I am living a dream. I cannot believe what happened here. Xavi and my teammates congratulated me.”

Who is Firmin Lopez?
Fermin Lopez is a Spanish midfielder. He moved to Barcelona’s youth sector in 2016 from the Real Betis academy, to train with La Masia before representing Barcelona Athletic.
He was included in the age groups of FC Barcelona, and was loaned to Linares Deportivo in the third division season 2022-2023, and there he grabbed the spotlight strongly, as he participated with Linares in 40 matches, scoring 12 goals and making 4 assists.
Lopez returned from his loan, and the duo, Mika Faye and Marc Casado, joined the first team at FC Barcelona, and also joined the American camp in the summer of 2023.
