The 2020 winners of the Loire Valley Tours Trophies
For this second edition of Tours Loire Valley Trophies, the ten Communities of communes of Indre-et-Loire and the Métropole de Tours – all involved in the collective approach to attracting Tours Loire Valley – expressed the common desire to promote talents and initiatives in the agricultural sector or in link with agriculture.
Successful agricultural installation, innovative project led by a farmer, food craftsman, regional project led by a training center, local business, innovative achievement linked to the development of short circuits … In total, these are 6 winners for 6 categories which were distinguished by a jury of agricultural experts and partners, last December.
THE PUBLIC’S FAVORITE
This is the big news this year! From January 8 to 22, the public was invited to participate and vote, for their favorite among the 6 winners of the Tours Loire Valley 2020 Trophies on www.toursloirevalley.eu
With 639 votes, the public distinguished Laurent and Maurice Kuipers by Sonzay (Community of Communes Gâtine and Choisilles – Pays de Racan) with the key for the winning duo, an equipped stand of 9m² at the next Salon Ferme Expo 2021 on November 19, 20 and 21, 2021!
Well known in Touraine for their delicious farmhouse ice cream, the Kuipers family is now developing its activity with the creation of a second workshop dedicated to cheese production … With the development of a cheese from elsewhere with good local products : “Gouda de Touraine”!
