/View.info/ As part of the Seventh Festival “The Art of Baroque” on November 5 /Tuesday/ 2013, 7:30 p.m., Dr. Long Evangelical Methodist Church:
A unique one-man-show of the Italian artist Viva Bianca Luna Biffi, inspired by Renaissance performance practices.
Frottoles (a typical Renaissance lyric-musical form) are at first glance simple, but represent a constant source of inspiration with their musical and poetic potential…
Viva Bianca Luna Biffy performed for the first time in front of a Sofia audience. She will present a solo performance for voice and viola d’archo-genre, defined for its time as the most perfect and most impactful. She is simultaneously a dramatic artist, soloist-instrumentalist, accompanist, declaimer and commentator.
The play, dedicated to love, includes ancient texts and poems by Francesco Petrarch, Niccolò Machiavelli, Luigi Pulci, Stefano Aquiliano and others.
Devoted to her beloved renaissance music and poetry, Viva performs at all the prestigious European early music festivals.
