Six bullfights including a Portuguese one and another of rejon, a novillada and a Camargue race will punctuate the feria from June 2 to 6. Almost all the stars will be there and the bulls will be exclusively from Domecq.
It is in the hall of Carré d’art that Simon Casas and the City of Nîmes lifted the veil, this Friday at the end of the afternoon, on the cartels of the Pentecost feria which will take place from June 2 to 6. .
It will consist of six bullfights including a rejon and a Portuguese, a novillada and a Camargue race. It’s one less formal bullfight than usual.
As the empresa had announced, with the exception of Emilio de Justo, all the star bullfighters will be there in cartels full of promises and illusions. To remember in particular, the very Sevillian bullfight of Sunday June 5 with Morante de la Puebla, whose last visit to Nîmes dates back to 2016, Juan Ortaga and Pablo Aguado. To remember again the cartel of the closing bullfight with, there too, the great return to Nîmes of Alejandro Talavante who will make the paseo with El Juli and the young Tomas Rufo who will confirm his alternative.
It is also exclusively Domecq encaste bulls that will be fought during so-called formal bullfights.
And the French in all this? They will be two for the novillada of the Golden Cape on Sunday morning with Solalito, the Nîmes, and Lalo de Maria. On this occasion, the son of Marie Sara will make his debut in France in novillada piqué. He started in this category this month in Olivenza. For her part, the Nîmes rejoneadora Léa Vicens will double since she will be on the paseo of the Portuguese bullfight on Friday evening, which returns to the calendar, and of the rejon bullfight on Monday morning.
On the matador side, on the other hand, they will be only two out of twelve (16.6% of the contingent). The Arlesian Juan Leal and the Nîmes El Rafi will be at the paseo of the first bullfight of this feria, on Friday June 3rd. Just a pity that another Frenchman, Adrien Salenc not to mention him, was not invited to a 100% French bullfight. We remember that it was a tricolor cartel that launched the 2019 feria.

Saturday June 4: At 6 pm, a bullfight by García Jiménez avec José María Manzanares, Andrés Roca Rey and Alejandro Marcos who confirmed they are alternative.
Sunday June 5: at 11:30 am, bullfight from the Cape d’or, steers from Roland Durand avec Solalito, Álvaro Burdiel and Lalo de María; at 6 pm, Jandilla bullfight with Morante de la Puebla, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado.
