TIME.CO, Jakarta – Legal authority Freddy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi, Arman Hanis, denied Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu’s claim that a woman was weeping by Ferdy Sambo’s home on Jalan Bangka, South Jakarta. You claimed that the story was just Richard’s invention.
“Regarding RE’s (Richard Eliezer) statement at the trial, I can point out that this statement is not true and is only RE’s fabrication, and is also not included in our client’s indictment,” Arman Hanis said when contacted, Thursday 1 December 2022 .
Arman also denied Richard’s claim that he came to Ferdy Sambo’s house on Jalan Bangka during the incident. According to him, Richard should have been at the mail aide’s house in Duren Tiga and not at the Saguling house when he was on vacation.
“That’s not true, because if RE is not on duty it’s not at Saguling, it’s at the Duren Tiga Post Office,” Arman said.
Testimony of Richard Eliezer
The story of the incident in which the woman wept from Sambo’s house on Jalan Bangka was told by Richard Eliezer when he became a witness in the premeditated murder trial of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat aka Brigadier Joshua Last Tuesday. Richard became a witness for defendants Ricky Rizal Wibowo and Strong Ma’ruf.
According to Richard, the incident occurred in June 2022. He said the incident started when he was on vacation and was staying at another Sambo house on Jalan Saguling 3 with Joshua and Matthew Marey. Putri Candrawathi, Sambo’s wife, called the three assistant cameras.
Richard admitted to sitting in the back seat with Matthew while Putri and Joshua were in the front. The four toured the Kemang area and stopped at a house on Jalan Bangka. Yosua told Richard that a friend of Ferdy Sambo named Eben would be visiting the Bangka house.
“When I passed by my house, I saw that my mother was angry. I dare not ask, Richard said.
Half an hour later, according to Richard’s account, Ferdy Sambo arrived there with his driver, Bharada Sadam. Richard also admitted seeing Alfonsius Dua Lurang’s security there, Adhan Romer’s aide and a domestic assistant.
With an angry face, Sambo walked straight into the house. Not so long ago, Richard said that an unfamiliar woman left the house crying.
“We don’t know what happened in the house. Half an hour later someone came out of the house, I said ‘Fons someone came out.’ There was a woman, I didn’t know her, she was crying. I was wondering who it was,” Richard said.
Richard Eliezer said he did not know who the woman was who left her superior’s house. He said the woman said to look for the driver. So, Richard looked for the female driver and called her.
