Brigadier Joshua’s father, Samuel Hutabarat, in Jambi, Wednesday (10/8/2022) said he and his wife watched the official statement from the National Police Chief through television at his home, Tuesday evening (9/8).
“My wife, after watching the official statement from the National Police Headquarters with her family, was immediately shocked to hear that the new suspect, former leader of the late Joshua, Inspector General (Pol) Ferdy Sambo, said.
After the National Police Chief explained the roles of each of the suspects in more detail, Brigadier Yoshua’s family was even more saddened because it turned out that the incident was not a shootout between Joshua and the suspect Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E.
Rosti also watched and heard the information from the Chief of Police that his biological son was shot dead by his colleague, Bharada E, was immediately shocked.
Samuel said Rosti actually had a premonition of his son’s death because he was killed. However, initially he received information that Joshua died after a shootout with his fellow members of the Indonesian National Police.
The family also expresses their gratitude to the National Police, in particular the Chief of the National Police and Kabareskrim, who succeeded in uncovering the case and the wider community who prayed so that the main perpetrators of this case were quickly revealed.
The family is also very grateful to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD for responding to various complaints from Brigadier Joshua’s family when they visited the Office of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs in Jakarta some time ago.
