Fenerbahçe added an additional 1 million Euros to its coffers by eliminating Belgium’s Union Saint-Gilloise team in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
With this success, the yellow-dark blue team increased their earnings in the European Conference League this season to 9.8 million Euros (approximately 343 million TL).
Despite losing 1-0 to Union Saint-Gilloise, whom they beat 3-0 away in the first match, in the rematch of the UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16, the yellow-dark blue team grabbed their ticket to the quarter-finals with the total score advantage. With this victory, Fenerbahçe earned an extra 1 million Euros of income.
PROMOTED TO THE GROUPS WITH 3 ELIMINATIONS
The yellow-dark blue team reached the group stage by beating Zimbru, Maribor and Twente teams one by one in the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifying Rounds this season, and earned 1.65 million Euros from the qualifiers.
With its success in participating in the group stage, it earned 2.94 million Euros and an additional 979 thousand Euros with multiple revenues.
Fenerbahçe, which won 4 times and lost 2 times in the group stage, earned 500 thousand Euros for each victory, a total of 2 million Euros.
The team that finished the group as leader received a leadership bonus of 650 thousand Euros and another 600 thousand Euros for advancing to the Round of 16. Finally, with the victory over Union Saint-Gilloise, the yellow-dark blue team added another 1 million Euros to their accounts.
