Fenerbahce players fail to celebrate with Puma jersey

Istanbul

Player Fenerbahce Muhammed Gumuskaya confusion when wanting to kiss the club logo after scoring a goal. Eh, the Fenerbahce jersey apparently doesn’t have the club logo on it.

Muhammed Gumuskaya managed to determine Fenerbahce’s victory over HJK Helsinki 1-0 at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in the play off match Europa League, Friday (20/8/2021) early morning WIB. The 20-year-old scored a beautiful goal from long range in the 65th minute.

There was a unique moment that happened after Gumuskaya scored against the HJK. He tried to celebrate his spectacular goal by trying to kiss the Fenerbahce logo on his jersey.

However, what happened was that Gumuskaya had to be confused. Eh, it turns out that Gumuskaya just realized that Fenerbahce in the match against HJK wore a third jersey made by Puma that did not have the club logo on the match uniform.

Puma did make a breakthrough by releasing third jerseys for several clubs with an unusual appearance. This German Sports Apparel has disappeared with the club logo on Jersey.

Instead, Puma displays the club’s identity on the jersey with the club’s name written in the center flanked by a horizontal line. Position the name of this club above the sponsor’s logo.

Apart from Fenerbahce, Puma released similar third jersey designs for nine other clubs, namely AC Milan, Manchester City, Valencia, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Olympique Marseille, Stade Rennais, Shakhtar Donetsk, Krasnodar and PSV Eindhoven. Puma launched the third jersey for the 10 clubs on Wednesday (18/8/2021).

Pros and cons accompany this unusual design used by Puma. Some of those who oppose think that Puma is eliminating the historical value of the club by not displaying their logo on the jersey. Meanwhile, those who support Puma’s breakthrough feel that this design is more minimalist so it looks more casual for everyday wear.

For the players of the 10 clubs above, they seem to have to suppress the desire to celebrate by kissing the club logo when wearing the third jersey. This is so that incidents like Gumuskaya do not happen again.
