Fenerbahce hosted Czech team Slavia Prague in the first match of the UEFA European Conference League play-off round.
At the end of the first half with mutual attacks, Traore put the guest team ahead: 0-1.
Fenerbahce started the second half effectively. While Valencia could not pass the pole in 54, Mert Hakan, who completed the spinning ball, could not find the castle. In 4 minutes, the goal came. Pelkas balanced the score with the ball from the left: 1-1.
Although Fenerbahçe was hopeful, Slavia Prague again took the lead in 62. Dorley sent the ball away from Szalai to the goal cleared by Altay: 1-2. 2 minutes later, Lingr doubled the gap due to the fault of the defense.
Ferdi Kadıoğlu, the star of the night in Fenerbahçe, took the stage in 83. While the star player was sending the ball to the goal with a hard kick, the ball hit the defense and met with the nets: 2-3.
While Fenerbahçe’s efforts to draw did not yield any results in the remaining time, Slavia Prague won 3-2.
The return match will be played on Thursday, February 24.
