Shocking incident in Istanbul with a victim Serhat Akin. The veteran Fenerbahce footballer, who now appears on football TV shows in the role of analyst, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The attack took place in public view shortly after the end of the show for the Europa League premiere, in which Akin participated.
“They beat me on the feet after the show, my last word will be Fener”, he himself wrote on social media announcing that unknown people ambushed him and shot him.

So far there is no information on the identity or motivation of the perpetrators. However, the 43-year-old former footballer is not in danger, while the Turkish police are investigating the case.
